The head of the capital’s military enlistment office has been charged with forgery of certificates for military conscripts traveling abroad. According to the investigation, the suspect, in collusion with members of a criminal group consisting of 9 individuals, assisted in the production of certificates stating the unfitness of men for military service, with subsequent removal from military records. The cost of this ‘service’ ranged from 3 to 4 thousand US dollars per person. The suspect faces a sentence of 7 to 9 years in prison.
