Funeral of Andrey Kozirem in Groza Village

Yesterday in the village of Groza, local residents said their final goodbyes to Andrey Kozirem. The funeral was organized by his son Denis. Before the war, the men were together in Poland, but in the early days they came to Lviv and went to the military enlistment office.

They were sent for training and then transferred to Popasna in different groups. After three days of fighting, the father received a fatal neck wound. He was buried in a military cemetery in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The son continued to serve, but in June he was discharged due to health reasons. He moved to Groza, got married, and decided to reinter his father. About 60 people gathered for the funeral. Currently, there is information about 52 casualties, including Denis, his wife, his grandfather, grandmother, and his wife’s mother.
